Dr. Hadpad, the retired as Security Commissioner, Railways, is the recipient of the prestigious President’s medal for meritorious Service in 1981. After his retirement he did not rest on his laurels and wanted to do something for the society and the future of our children. He had a burning desire to help youngsters to imbibe an achievement oriented approach. He came across the UCMAS concept during his travels to various countries and he was impressed by the benefits it offered to children. He took up the challenge to spread the UCMAS concept to every nook and corner of Maharashtra. At the ripe age of 74 he is zealously working for spreading this concept for the benefit of children. He is also the Managing Trustee of the International School of Skills. He has been awarded the prestigious “Rajiv Gandhi Award” for his excellent contribution in the field of education for the year 2006. |
